Kids and Adults BJJ and Judo Promotions

Kogaion Academy’s 6th Anniversary is fast approaching and we can’t wait to celebrate for everyone. This year we will be celebrating six years of making Kogaion the “third place” for hundreds of people passing through our mats. This will also be our first year doing judo promotions for kids!

Promotion dates and times:
Kids BJJ (5-7 years): Tuesday April 22, 5pm
Youth BJJ (8-12 years): Wednesday April 23, 5pm
Juniors Judo (5-12 years): Saturday April 26, 10:30am
Adults BJJ and Judo: Saturday April 26, 11am
Open mat and potluck: Saturday April 26, 12pm

Promotion requirements for kids have already been privately shared with parents. This is also just a reminder that changing belt colors is a way of acknowledging a person’s personal growth, progress on the mats, competition performance, and dedication to the lifelong path. However, the way we live and train every day is much more important than how many stripes are on whatever color your belt cloth is dyed.
